The 2025 Mercedes-AMG SL 63 revives the iconic SL as a pure AMG performance roadster. The handcrafted 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 produces 577 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque through the AMG Speedshift MCT 9-speed transmission and 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive. The SL reaches 60 mph in 3.5 seconds with a top speed of 196 mph. A multi-layer fabric soft top opens in 15 seconds at speeds up to 37 mph. The 2+2 seating configuration offers occasional rear passenger capability. AMG Ride Control+ suspension with adaptive damping manages the grand touring and sport driving modes. The 11.9-inch OLED central display tilts electrically to reduce glare with the top down.
