The Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 Bison is the ultimate expression of the midsize off-road truck. Developed with American Expedition Vehicles, the Bison package adds five hot-stamped boron steel skid plates and a modular steel front bumper with Warn winch provision that provide genuine expedition-grade protection. The Multimatic DSSV dampers are the star of the show -- they deliver exceptional wheel articulation over rough terrain while maintaining surprisingly composed on-road manners. The 310-horsepower turbo four with 430 lb-ft of torque provides ample power, and the front and rear electronic locking differentials ensure you can extract maximum traction in the toughest conditions. The cabin is well-equipped with modern infotainment and comfortable seating for daily driving. The only notable weakness is the turbocharged four-cylinder soundtrack, which lacks the visceral appeal of a V6 or V8.
